Dan Soder's first two stand-up comedy specials, Not Special [2016] & Son of a Gary [2019]. I downloaded Son of a Gary from TPB, uploaded by ETTV, but it took a day or two to get to download due to having only 1-2 seeders. I seeded that beyond a ratio of 5:1. It's 720X390 resolution, and has subtitles encoded into it but I was able to turn them off through DirectVobSub. I believe that means they're softcoded subtitles. Not Special was a hassle to get. All torrent sources for the uncensored or extended version were dead. This is definitely uncensored, and 1:01:32 long, where many videos I came across were 41 minutes and some change, so I assume this is also the extended version. I usually use Video Download Helper, but I tried more than 10 Firefox extensions and software programs that would typically do the trick, as well as URL downloaders. The problem I ran into with every download is it would get partway through, usually less than 1/4, then fail. One got over halfway before failing...I was actually optimistic about that one. The page's player ( https://ww1.9movies.yt/watch/dan-soder-not-special-18540/?ep=21178 ) had protection from right-clicking, so I used VDH to reveal the video's location, but it was generated by something and did not end in .mp4, the URL ended in "==". I was able to right-click and "Save As..." on this player, but it also failed every time. Long story short, I used a screen recorder while at a doctor's appointment, and when Soder moves it's somewhat choppy. I'd already accidentally left it set to 480p and recorded while watching it once AFTER having watched it, so I was over trying. If you know how to get a perfect rip, the video is at the above link. Please tell me how to rip a video with copy protection this extensive so I can do better in the future! I never want to resort to a screen recorder again if I can get to the source. Enjoy, and please seed!
